So, let's get started!
For those who are like me and don't know squat about this country, Armenia is located in Western Asia beside Turkey (West), Georgia (North), Azerbaijan (East) and Iran (South).

Yeah. The country is kinda small, but its also bursting to the seems with culture.
Armenia was first gained independence on May 28, 1918 but two short years after, the USSR took over. Armenia didn't gain their independence once again until September 21st, 1991. Their Independence became official on December 26, 1991.
Armenia is a state that is majorly Christian with 97.9% of their population belonging to the Armenian Apostolic Church. Armenia is also the first country to make Christianity their official state religion. It's believed that the country was first converted to Christianity back in 301 AD by Saint Gregory the Illuminator. Armenia was also built the first church in the entire world in the early 4th century.

Armenia is one of the only mono ethnic countries in the world. 97% of people living in Armenia are ethnically Armenian. That rate is almost as close as Japan's (which is 99.9% ethnically Japanese). The other 3% of the population is made of a variety of people like Yazidis, Russians, Ukranians, and the Kurds. Armenia has even put in laws that protect the minorities living in there country, without having to have any ethnic conflicts within the state. Look at Armenia go!
Armenia's national symbol is a mountain that is located a outside of Armenian territory called Mount Ararat. It is said that the mountain was the country's savor during strong earthquakes. Armenian's also believe that the peak of the mountain is where Noah's Ark from the famous bible story was founded. Even though Mt. Ararat is not within Armenian borders, the people still praise and worship the mountain.

The capital of Armenia is the city of Yerevan. Yerevan is also called the "pink city" due to the multitude of pink building that stand. The building in Yerevan were build from naturally colored volcanic rock found in the area. Because of this rock, the building all brightly show hues of pink as you travel through town. It truly looks beautiful.
